Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2013
Technical Driving Centre
Unfortunately the Hungarian statistics of accidents show a frightening picture. There is no weekend passing away without the news being loud from horrible car accidents. The highways and cars are constructed to be increasingly safer, accidents are still happening. Why? The answer is simple. The human factor. 90% of the accidents are happening as a result of the drivers’ failure and non-concentration.

The Technical Driving Centre on the Hungaroring is the only facility in Hungary at European level. There are 22 similar driving centres in Austria and 58 in Germany. So we are sure that passing a technical driving course can help to decrease the number of car accidents and the extent of measurable property damage.

Approximately 5-6000 visitors take part in technical driving courses and different events each year. Besides the traditional driving courses, the organization of company events in our facilities has become very popular. The feedbacks of the guests are positive. Many of them think as we do, that passing a driving course should be compulsory for every driver.

Besides the adults, children can also get to know the basics of driving in the Children Traffic Park.

Summarising the above, our motto is: “Safety shall not be a matter of luck!”

Give the courses as a present to your family members.

New type of course:  „ECO-Driving”

The Technical Driving Centre has special instruments, wherewith we are able to measure the fuel consumption, toxic substance emission. The instruments records the time of the journey, the average speed and rev of engine.
The driver drives the same rout twice. The time of the journey is the same. Between the two driving session there is a short theoretic part. The instructor gives proposals and solutions how to reduce the fuel consumption in a simply way.
Besides this, the running expenses are reducible. Nowadays is very important to save the environment by reducing the toxic substance emission. The measured data, after the second driving, is the proof, that the driver is able to save 0,5 -3 litre fuel/ 100 km.
