According to the requirements of the FIA, they are finishing the reconstruction of the Hungaroring Circuit in these days, for the 26th Formula 1 ENI Magyar Nagydíj which will take place on 31 of July. They will complete the asphalting of the 3rd, 8th and 9th curve soon. The deadline of the technical transmission is 24, July.

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile – FIA – required further modification of the Circuit of Mogyoród. That is the reason why the management of the Hungaroring Sport Ltd changed the gravel bed surface of the 3rd, 8th and 9th curve. The reconstruction is heading according to the previous predictions considering the length of the works, the technical transmission will take place on 24, July.

„The more than ten million worth process of the reconstruction, such as the asphalting of the gravel bed and the roads to the parking lots. For this year the FIA required this modification. The technical transmission will take place on 24, July, the last Sunday before the F1 Race, because the trucks of the Formula 1 teams will arrive to the Hungaroring from Monday” – said Gyulay Zsolt, the President & CEO of the Hungaroring Sport Ltd, he added that they are building a new heliport at the Circuit of Mogyoród.

The companies who work during the Formula 1 Race will arrive soon to the Hungarian Circuit to make everything ready for the 26th Formula 1 ENI Magyar Nagydíj.

“These companies will prepare the V.I.P. sector, the billboards along the Circuit and place the necessary power generators. Moreover the fellow workers of FOM television, the firm of Bernie Ecclestone, will be here to make the necessary technical preparation for the television broadcast” – detailed the Circuit Director, Mr. Károly Morvai.
