Experience the feeling of riding on the famous Hungaroring race track. Aim of open day for bikes is to provide the bike-lovers with the opportunity of trying the limits of their bikes and develop their skills. The Hungarian F1 track may present unforgettable feeling for both beginners and advanced bikers. Come and experience the excitement of track riding without speed limit.

Requirements


After the online registration, on-site registration is also necessary, for participating at the programme, participants must present the filled and signed liability statement and the driving licence. Participants can enter the track according to the timetable and the group scheduling.

  • Participants can only participate during the open days with a driving licence or racing licence valid for their bikes.
  • Participants under alcoholic influence or under the influence of any psychotropic drugs are not allowed to enter the track.
  • Only bikes in perfect mechanical conditions can enter the race track. Following any technical problem, crash or going off-track, another scrutineering is mandatory before re-entering the track.
  • Passenger is forbidden on bikes.
  • Participants can only use the race track wearing a completely closed helmet, motorcycle boots, gloves and intact leather clothing.
  • Fixing a camera on the helmet or on body is not allowed, camera can be fixed exclusively on the bike.
  • Stunt riding or drifting is forbidden.
  • Riders must follow the organizers’ and stewards’ regulations and instructions in all circumstances.

Transponders can be collected following the onsite registration. We kindly ask everyone to place the transponder according to the regulations (in the following priority order):

1. On the fork tube behind the front fairing if it fits, it is important to place it with nail upside.

2. Back footrest with nail upside.

3. Small storage compartment under the seat

Program details


There are four categories in which riders can participate: Bronze (over lap time of 2:15), Silver (between 2:05 and 2:15 lap time), Gold (under 2:05 lap time) and Beginners. Participants, whose lap times do not fit into the registered category several times, will be excluded from the track day. The program takes place in 20-minute rounds. The maximum number of riders on the track at the same time is 15, but the organizer reserves the right to change this number at any time. During open days transponder is mandatory.

The programme will take place once a month on average in the season, mostly on weekdays. 


Noise and technical check


Vehicles must participate at a scrutineering before entering the track, where technical condition and noise emission are checked. Only motorbikes with the specified noise level according to the 6/1990. (IV.12.) KöHÉM legal regulation 3. appendix not exceeding 102 dB can participate during the open days. On-site registration may take place provided the vehicle has passed the scrutineering. We have nonstop noise measuring during the programme, and Hungaroring Sport Zrt. may exclude vehicles exceeding the maximum noise emission. We recommend each participant to use dB killer equipped into the exhaust pipe. Once per season, the full amount of the prepaid fee would be refunded if your bike does not pass the noise measuring. If the your bike does not pass the noise measuring test more than once in a season, the prepaid fees will not be refunded.
