With regard to the current international situation and the state of emergency announced by the Hungarian Government on Wednesday the international and national promoters have agreed to cancel, by mutual consent, the Super Racing Festival scheduled for 25-26 April at the Hungaroring.
In the last few weeks Hungaroring Sport Zrt. has been liaising with the organizers of World Touring Car Cup and European Truck Racing Championship on a possible postponement, however, despite our best efforts no suitable combined new date could be found. Therefore, we are not in a position to organize WTCR at the Hungaroring this year.
With the organizer of the European Truck Racing Championship we managed to find an alternative date: 13-14 June. By combining this event the Enduro world championship we look forward to an exciting weekend of racing at the Hungaroring in June.
Certainly, we will continue to consult the government’s coronavirus task force as well as the National Chief Medical Service regarding this event, and we enforce any measures taken by the government for outdoor and indoor public events.
Full refunds will be made out to all existing ticket holders for Super Racing Festival. If you have not been notified by your ticket agent by the 31 March, we kindly ask you to contact the ticket office you bought your tickets from.
