Sold out - no more tickets for Sunday of the Formula 1 Magyar Nagydíj

There are four months to go to the 37th Formula 1 Magyar Nagydíj, and the Hungaroring is happy to announce that tickets for Race Sunday are sold out. Tickets are sold out not only for the normal grandstands, but for the five additional grandstands, as well as the General Admission area. In terms of numbers, this means that nearly 100,000 spectators are expected to attend on race day around the hills of Mogyoród.

So far, only Weekend and Sunday tickets have been on sale, but now that the circuit has reached the its capacity, Friday and Saturday tickets are going on sale as well.

"The circuit has a maximum capacity, which we have now reached, so we cannot sell any more tickets for Sunday," said Zsolt Gyulay, CEO of Hungaroring Sport Zrt. “According to our calculations, around 100,000 people can safely visit the Hungaroring, and for them we can guarantee quality service and entertainment in the grandstands and in the spectators’areas. Tickets for Friday and Saturday are still available and we are starting to sell them now, but I have no doubt that they will be sold quickly. We have never experienced anything like this, since we started to run the circuit, and this huge interest proves that it is worth investing in the Hungaroring. In fact, as well as being essential for contract renewal, development and expansion could also have positive impact on attendance: we could welcome more fans, it is as simple as that."

The highest attendance number in recent years goes back to 2019, when 230,000 people watched the Formula 1 Magyar Nagydíj during the four days of the event, and on Sunday alone 92,000 people visited the Hungaroring.
