During the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, traffic is expected to increase around the Hungaroring, so we recommend using public transport to and from the circuit.
If you arrive with your own vehicle, please note that the following traffic regulations will apply (see maps below). Occasionally, they may vary, please always follow the instructions of the police.
Car
Hungaroring provides free parking possibilities for spectators arriving by car at the designated areas around the circuit (for recommended routes check the maps).
Motorbike
Visitors arriving by motorbike can leave their bikes at the free car parking lots, but it is important to note that these lots are not asphalted.
Tourist bus
Parking for tourist buses is possible at the designated area between Gate 3 and Gate 6 based on the following rates (recommended routes: from highway nr. 3 through Szilasliget).

Bus parking tickets can be purchased online or onsite in Euro or Forint, only in cash.
Bicycle and scooter
Fans arriving by bicycle or scooter can leave their vehicles at the bicycle storage beside Gate 7a and Gate 2, but please note that this is not a guarded storage, so do not forget to bring locks.
Taxi
The official taxi partner of the Hungaroring for the 2024 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix is Főtaxi.
Its cars will run in a dedicated VIP lane, making it very quick and easy to get to the venue. Passengers can conveniently order a car through multiple channels via the FŐTAXI app, online or by phone (+36 1 222 2222) via the 24/7 dispatch centre.
How much does the trip cost? Where are the cars located?
Within and outside the administrative boundaries of Budapest, the basic fee is HUF 1,100 (€3) and the per-minute fee is HUF 110 (50 Euro cents). Within the capital, the kilometre fee is HUF 440 (€1.5), and when crossing the capital's boundaries, this charge is HUF 880 (€2.5). The total fee depends on the place of departure and the traffic, but the company estimates that a trip to Mogyoród from Buda will cost approximately HUF 14,000-18,000 (€36-46), while from Pest HUF 13,000-16,000 (€33-41). The expected duration of the trip is 30-40 minutes.
To facilitate the return journey, cars will be waiting for passengers at the taxi rank near Gate 8, as agreed with the Hungaroring.
City Shuttle
Hungaroring – Budapest Heroes’ Square
Service is available only in the direction of Budapest from 4pm from Friday to Sunday. The buses for 19 people run continuously subject to capacity and traffic.
The service fee is 8.000 HUF or 20 EUR, payable upon get-on by cash or card.
