Fans are invited again to a special event at the Hungaroring on the Thursday afternoon, 31 July 2025, before the 40th Formula 1 Lenovo Hungarian Grand Prix.
From 2:00 pm, spectators can watch the high-speed test of the safety and medical cars from the brand-new Hungaroring grandstand. After 4:00 pm, they’ll be able to walk down to the pit lane for a close-up look at the racing cars.

Arrival and Parking
Vehicles arriving at the venue may park in the car park located behind the MOL Petrol Station. If it is full, while following police directions past Gate 8 and park outside the Hungaroring. Those using public transport can take the scheduled Volánbusz service on this day (please note: this service does not operate from Friday to Sunday; during the Hungarian Grand Prix, please use the recommended public transport routes).
Entry to the Venue
Entry will take place via Gate 8 of the Hungaroring on the day of the event (31 July 2025) from 13:30. Both tickets for the High Speed Test and 3-day weekend passes must be presented here. Entry to the Thursday programme will not be permitted without presenting both! Each Formula 1 weekend pass (Friday–Sunday) is valid for only one High Speed Test ticket.
High Speed Test
The High Speed Test begins at 14:00 and can be viewed from the new HUNGARORING grandstand after entering through Gate 8. Catering and commercial units between the gate and the grandstand will be open.
Pit Lane Walk
The pit lane walk is expected to begin at 16:15. Access will be available next to Sector “A” of the HUNGARORING grandstand. Our staff will assist with directions and guide visitors along the designated route to the pit lane.
