Private transport
Transport arrangements have started for the 40th Formula 1 Lenovo Hungarian Grand Prix.
As in previous years, we kindly recommend the use of public transport, details of which will be available soon on our website.
The following maps illustrate the traffic plan and routes. Please note that the police may modify the traffic plan depending on the actual traffic situation.
PARKING FACILITIES
Car
The Hungaroring provides free parking for a significant number of vehicles around the circuit (the location of the P1, P2 and P3 parking areas and the suggested routes are shown on the maps above) for the spectators arriving by car. Only vehicles classified as cars may park in the car parking lots.
The map below shows the route to Premium parking.
Tourist bus
Tourist buses, special shuttles can park in the paid parking area between gates 3 and 6 (see map below) at a unit price of 32.000 HUF or 80 EUR per day, regardless of size and number of passengers (suggested approach: from main road 3 via Szilasliget).
Suggested routes
The bus parking ticket can be purchased online (gpticketshop.hu) or onsite in HUF and EUR, but cash only. For smooth parking, drivers are kindly requested to pay the exact amount when parking.
Motorbike
Motorcyclists can leave their vehicles in the free car parking areas, but it is important to note that these are not asphalted.
Bicycles, scooters
People arriving by bicycle or scooter can leave their bicycle or scooter at the bicycle racks located in the parking lots next to gates 7 and 2B. The "storage" is not guarded, so you are advised to bring the necessary security equipments.
Taxi
Főtaxi is the official taxi partner of the Hungaroring during the 40th Formula 1 Lenovo Hungarian Grand Prix.
The taxi company's cars are entitled to use the VIP lane in the M3 motorway up to exit 18.
Passengers can conveniently order a taxi through several channels via the FŐTAXI app, online or by phone (+36 1 222 2222) through the 24-hour dispatch centre. The company's cars will transport fans at the official price.
On the return journey, the cars will be waiting for passengers at the taxi rank near Gate 8, as agreed with the Hungaroring.

City Shuttle
Hungaroring - Budapest Heroes Square
The service operates on the return journey to the city from Friday to Sunday from 4 pm. The 19-seater buses run continuously, depending on the crowding and the level of traffic (the exact location of the City Shuttle stops is shown on the maps above).
