A Clean Environment Is a Shared Victory – Every Lap Counts!
At Hungaroring, we believe that sustainability is not only a responsibility but also an exciting opportunity to lead by example, whether through energy-efficient operations, reducing waste, or actively engaging our community.
We are proud that the Hungaroring has recently been awarded the FIA 3-Star Environmental Accreditation and certified to the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System standard, recognising our commitment to sustainable operations.
One of the key pillars of our sustainability strategy is responsible waste management. At our events, we continuously strive to reduce the amount of waste generated while ensuring that materials remain in circulation wherever possible through effective selective collection and recycling.
What are we doing?
Some of the many initiatives implemented across the circuit, not only during major events, include:
• Selective waste collection points throughout the grandstands, buildings, and the entire circuit.
• A reusable cup system to reduce single-use waste.
• Paper plates and wooden cutlery at Food&Beverage outlets.
• Separate collection of aluminium cans and single-use plastics to enable recycling.
• Careful collection and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
We hope you'll become an honorary member of Team Hungaroring by helping us create a cleaner, more enjoyable, and more sustainable environment for everyone to enjoy the action on track.
Please look for our waste collection stations throughout the venue and use the pictograms displayed on the selective waste bins to dispose of each type of waste in the appropriate container.

Reusable Cups
As in previous years, a reusable cup system will once again be in operation throughout the event. All beverages served by the catering outlets will be provided in reusable cups.
Featuring unique and eye-catching designs, the cups make great souvenirs to take home while also helping to reduce plastic waste. By using them, we can all contribute to a more sustainable event and a cleaner environment.

Accessibility
The gates of the Hungaroring are open to everyone. Reduced mobility or any other disability should never be a barrier to a passion for motorsport, whether in the grandstands or behind the wheel.
The newly renovated Main Grandstand offers more than 100 wheelchair-accessible spaces for fans during the GT Open weekend.
At the Hungaroring, equal access is just as much a part of the experience as speed and excitement.
