It has been thirty years since 1986, when, near to the beautiful capital of Hungary, among the rolling hills of Mogyorod, Hungaroring started its operation. At that time the race track lacked every pre-history, virtually starting from scratch in probably one of the most professional sports of the world, Formula-1. And now Hungaroring has been a constant location of the grandiose series of races for thirty years, a series in which the standard of everything is the ’perfect’ around the world and in which Bernie Ecclestone will accept only the best in everything.
The great race tracks of the world, among them Hungaroring in the past three decades, are not only to host the world championships and, as their capacity allows, provide opportunity to practice for those passionate about motorsports, but to serve as a sort of think tank hub of the automotive life of the given country .
It is not possible to over emphasise, acknowledge and praise Hungaroring as one of the nineteen race tracks that hold the permission to host a world championship run. It is a privilege that requires constant effort and the delivery of the best in everything – and this is exactly what we do.
Apart from Formula–1 Hungarian Grand Prix we host such world races as the FIA’s World Touring Car Championship, being held for the fourth time this year at our race track, which is a steady location in this year’s calendar too. In reality, considering international activity, this is the real season opener at us.
Hungaroring is the motorsport centre of Hungary, offering great opportunities not only to those who love cars and motorbikes but also for those who are passionate about speed: they can practice in the Driving Centre operating within our premises or enjoy formula car adventure drives…
Our race track is alive and moves forward dynamically. Come and experience it yourself!
