The Hungarian Grand Prix Starts on Thursday – A Fan Festival Packed with F1 Excitement!

Last year, the Hungaroring received the international award for Best Fan Experience, and this year it is raising the bar even higher: the 41st Hungarian Grand Prix weekend will begin on Thursday. And the best part? You don’t even need a Formula 1 ticket to be part of it.

The Hungarian Grand Prix Fan Festival is designed for everyone who loves the sport but missed out on tickets. It’s for those who cannot attend the race weekend, those who were unable to secure a place for the Pit Lane Walk, or those spending their holiday nearby and looking to experience the unique atmosphere of Formula 1.

Because by Thursday, the action at the Hungaroring is already in full swing.

And not just behind the scenes.

Visitors who purchase a ticket for the Thursday Fanzone programme – which includes every experience except the Pit Lane Walk – will be able to watch the Safety Car and Medical Car testing sessions up close, an experience normally reserved for Formula 1 ticket holders. That alone is a compelling reason to visit the circuit, as opportunities to witness preparations for a Grand Prix weekend from such close proximity are exceptionally rare.

Meanwhile, the fan zone will be operating at full throttle. The Ferris wheel will be turning, the bumper cars will be ready for action, and the activity area behind the Main Grandstand will come alive with interactive Formula 1 experiences throughout the afternoon. Visitors can also enjoy racing simulators, pit-stop wheel-change challenges, and the opportunity to purchase official team merchandise.

The goal is simple: to bring the Formula 1 feeling to as many people as possible. Fans can experience the magic, the anticipation, the energy of race weekend, and the unique atmosphere that attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators to the Hungaroring every year.

On stage, visitors can meet Formula 2 and Formula 3 drivers, all of them aiming for the pinnacle of motorsport, with some destined to make that dream a reality. The programme will also feature leading figures from Hungarian motorsport and offer fascinating insights into some of the most memorable stories from the past forty years of the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The experience is priceless, but the ticket certainly isn’t. Adults can take part in this special afternoon for just €35, while children under 14 can join for only €10.

Don’t miss out! The 41st Formula 1 AWS Hungarian Grand Prix begins on Thursday at the Hungaroring.
