Waste Management

HUNGARORING Sport Zrt. has been committed to responsible waste management for many years. At the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix and all our other events, we continuously work to reduce the amount of waste generated and to recycle as much of it as possible.

What are we doing to achieve this?

• We have installed selective waste collection points at the spectators’ zones, buildings and across the entire circuit.
• We introduced a reusable cup system.
• Our catering partners use paper plates and wooden cutlery.
• We collect metal cans and single-use plastics separately to ensure they can be given a new life by recycling.

E-Ticketing System

Our ticketing partner has been using e-tickets for years, significantly reducing plastic and paper consumption. This not only helps protect the environment but also makes the entry process faster and more convenient for visitors.
